Tommy thought he was the only one of his kind; he grew up believing no one like him even existed. To Tommy, life was a waste of his time; he was ready to die. Until he saw…the candy. Zoom in on lone Skittle. Show Tommy’s face, a single bead of sweat falls from his cheek as he reaches his trembling hand and picks it up. He slowly moves it towards his mouth. The moment he eats it, rapid images of his dad striking him, broken vending machines and tense moments between anonymous married couples flash before his eyes. Cue suspenseful music. An image of Tommy entering dark woods, while chewing on what looks to be a delicious fruity treat blurs into focus.
A moment later he is enveloped by darkness and the music stops. Only long enough to make out a distant scream, then…silence. Cue even more suspenseful music. What would you do if you were faced with a choice, a decision between life and slight hunger? Existence or the flavor of artificial fruit lingering on your taste buds? Happiness or death? Tommy chose the latter. And it was the last latter he ever would choose, or was it? ANGER, WEAPONS, DARKNESS, ABUSE, TIGERS, DEATH, DIE, MURDER… Skittles? Yes.
